Time entry settings in ebiTime

Time entry settings in ebiTime

The time entry settings have three different variables:
  1. Max. Time Booking In Past
  2. Max. Time Booking In Advance
  3. Time Rounding

Max. Time Booking In Past

Set for how much time in the past users can create time entries. For example you can set that users can create new time entries for only 2 days in the past.

Max. Time Booking in Advance

Similar as to time booking in the past, this setting sets how much time in advance users can create a time entry. This is calculated based on end time of the time entry. For example, users can create time entries only 15 minutes in advance.

Time Rounding

With time rounding you can set how each time entry is supposed to be rounded. For example, if set to 15 minutes only time entries with duration of 15, 30, 45 minutes etc. can be saved.

All time entry settings are set for the organization as a template but are applied per project. For each project you can set different time entry settings.
