Time entry approval in ebiTime
If enabled, all time entries need to be approved. Who approves the time entries, is set on each project. You can read more
here.
Time entry approver will be able to see all time entries related to a specific project on page Approve entries in the application menu. Here for each time entry you can view:
- for which date and time the time entry was created
- which user created the time entry
- which team was used
- which activity and project is related to the time entry
- description of the time entry
From the view, you can either approve a single time entry or multiple time entries at once.
If a time entry needs to be corrected, you can request a change request. Again, this can be done either for a single time entry or multiple time entries at once. Before submitting the change request a comment will be prompted, giving you the chance to describe to the user what needs to be corrected.
Users will receive change requests to the Change request page. They will see the whole time entry along with the comment inputted by the approver.
