Configuring General settings in ebiTime
To use ebiTime some General settings need to be defined.
First step is to define work time for your organization. To do this navigate to Settings \ General and on top of the page you will find the work time settings.
For your organization you can define:
- Fiscal year start
- Week starts on
- Day starts at
- Day end at
- Working hours in a day
- Working hours in a week
Second step is to define the default Time entry settings. This settings will be applied when creating a project but can be edited on project level to suit each project's needs. For this you can define:
- Maximum time users can input time entries for the past
- Maximum time users can input time entries in advance
- Time entry rounding, for example each time entry must be rounded to 15 minutes
- Maximum length of a time entry*
*This setting is only set per organization and cannot be edited for each project specificly.
